RF Microneedling

Morpheus8

The effects of aging, which causes a breakdown in the skin’s production of collagen and elastin, plus skin damage from the wear and tear of life severely impacts the skin’s overall health and appearance. Fortunately, Morpheus8 is a device we carry in our clinic in Cleveland that provides a non-invasive cosmetic treatment to help restore your skin’s complexion, contour, tone, and texture.

Radiofrequency microneedling is a deep fractional procedure we offer in
Westlake that combines two popular treatments (microneedling and
radiofrequency energy) delivering exceptional tissue results. Microneedling
involves the use of tiny needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the
skin, stimulating the body's natural collagen and elastin production, which
helps improve skin texture and reduce the appearance of scars, wrinkles,
and fine lines. In radiofrequency microneedling, the procedure takes it a
step further by introducing radiofrequency energy into the skin through the
micro-injuries created by the needles. The RF energy heats the deeper
layers of the skin, promoting further collagen production and tightening of
the tissue. This combination of microneedling and RF energy enhances the
overall results and effectiveness of the treatment. This procedure addresses concerns, such as wrinkles and fine lines, acne scars, uneven skin texture, sagging or loose skin, enlarged pores and stretch marks.

Possible treatment areas for this microneedling procedure include the face, jowls,
jawline, neck, and underneath the chin.  Additionally, Morpheus8 could target stretch marks, acne scars, wrinkles, and cellulitis on the abdomen, above the knees, and on the outer and inner thighs. It is important to note that the results vary for each individual due to the unique differences in each patient’s skin health and signs of aging.

Additionally, Morpheus8 can help treat hyperhidrosis. Hyperhidrosis is a medical
condition that causes excessive sweating leading to social anxiety, embarrassment, and uncomfortable situations. With the Morpheus8, our clinic in Westlake can, effectively treat hyperhidrosis by desensitizing the sweat glands and eliminating excessive sweating.

Radiofrequency microneedling is considered safe for most skin types, but it's essential to consult with a qualified professional to determine if it's the right treatment for your specific skin concerns. The downtime and recovery period after the procedure may vary based on the depth of the treatment and individual skin sensitivity, but generally, it is less invasive and requires less downtime than traditional more invasive laser treatments.
