Dr. Habibeh L. Gitiforooz is an accomplished Women's Health and Gynecology specialist with a diverse educational and professional journey. She is originally from Iran, received her medical degree from Dubai Medical College and completed residencies at Wayne State University School of Medicine and Mount Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Gitiforooz possesses a vast reservoir of expertise as a result of her training coupled with over two decades of experience at Cleveland Clinic. Her extensive medical background and surgical skills complement her unwavering commitment to providing comprehensive patient care, showcasing her dedication to women's well-being. Dr. Gitiforooz's illustrious career underscores her position as a prominent figure in the field, consistently contributing to the advancement of women's health. Beyond her medical pursuits, she takes pleasure in spending quality time with her family and her 2 daughters who have now joined her practice. She adores time with her nieces and often indulges in gardening and poetry readings.
Dr. Maral Malekzadeh joins us from MedStar Health where she was practicing as a highly trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon. Dr. Malekzadeh began her educational journey pursuing a Master of Science degree in Anatomy before attending medical school at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York City. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Michigan State University-Sparrow Hospital and furthered her expertise through surgical training, successfully finishing an American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL) fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at The Cleveland Clinic in Florida. Specializing in advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgeries, Dr. Malekzadeh is dedicated to delivering exceptional and individualized care to women facing complex gynecologic conditions. Dr. Malekzadeh employs minimally invasive techniques ideally positioning her within the realm of aesthetics. She is a staunch advocate for women's healthcare and places significant emphasis on assisting her patients in meeting their unique needs. Beyond her medical profession, she finds enjoyment in cooking, practicing yoga, and spending quality time with her family.
Kristin Petruziello is a Nurse Practitioner who’s passion for healthcare started as a young child with both her parents being in the medical field. She completed her RN, BSN from Ursuline College and after a few years of practice decided to further advance her career by obtaining a Masters in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner specialization from Ursuline College. Kristin spent 18-years at Lake West Hospital with her most recent role as an NP taking care of in-patient pulmonary critical care patients. To further expand her skill set, Kristin shifted into aesthetics in 2020 and is currently working on her Functional Health certification. She has a passion for helping people look and feel their best and couldn’t be more excited to be a part of the startup team at The Well Westlake. When she's not at work, Kristin has a busy home life with her husband, Matt, their two children, Sophia and Luca, and her two dogs.
Tatyana Gabyak has been serving as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) for an impressive 18 years. Her educational path began at Ivano-Frankivsk Medical University in Ukraine followed by a Forensic Pathology Internship. She then pursued her PA education at Tri-C PA School in Cleveland and has since worked across different departments at Cleveland Clinic and Fairview Hospital. Tatyana is passionate about patient care hence continues to practice as a surgical assistant. With an interest in aesthetics and commitment to ongoing learning, Tatyana pursued extensive training at the IAPAM Symposium and Training in Aesthetic Medicine as well as the Esthetic Skin Institute Advanced Training program. Tatyana's comprehensive and varied experience has positioned her as one of the most proficient experts in her field. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Tatyana cherishes her role as a mom and nana in her home life. She is a proud parent to four children and a doting grandparent to five grandchildren. Tatyana also enjoys exploring the world through travel and creating family memories, whether it's relaxing on beach vacations or skiing down the slopes of Aspen.
