In our Westlake office, neurotoxin injections are used as muscle relaxants by blocking the release of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter that signals muscle contractions. When injected into specific muscles, Neurotoxins temporarily paralyze those muscles, resulting in relaxation and a reduction in muscle activity. This reduces the appearance of facial wrinkles and fine lines, ultimately smoothing out the skin leading to a more youthful and healthy-looking skin.

Neurotoxin injections are not just for forehead wrinkles or crow's feet. This treatment can help with frown lines, glabella wrinkles (between the eyebrows), bunny lines (on the side of the nose), and marionette lines.
